Cerumen removal
Cerumen removal, commonly referred to as earwax removal, is a procedure essential for maintaining ear health. Cerumen, a natural secretion produced by glands in the ear canal, serves to protect and lubricate the ear, trapping dust and debris while preventing bacterial growth. However, excessive buildup can lead to discomfort, hearing loss, or infections. It is crucial to avoid using cotton swabs or other objects to remove earwax at home, as this can push the wax further into the ear canal, potentially causing damage.

Balloon Sinuplasty
Balloon sinuplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat chronic sinusitis by restoring normal sinus drainage. During the procedure, a small balloon catheter is inserted into the blocked sinus passage and then inflated to gently restructure and open the sinus pathways, allowing for better airflow and drainage. This technique is typically performed under local anesthesia and offers a quicker recovery time compared to traditional sinus surgery. Balloon sinuplasty is highly effective in reducing sinus symptoms and enhancing the overall quality of life for patients suffering from chronic sinusitis. It is a safe and innovative option for those seeking relief from persistent sinus issues.

Eustachian tube dilation
Eustachian tube dilation is a medical procedure aimed at treating chronic Eustachian tube dysfunction, which can cause symptoms such as persistent ear pain, pressure, and hearing difficulties. The Eustachian tubes, which connect the middle ear to the back of the nose, help equalize ear pressure and drain fluid from the middle ear. When these tubes become blocked or fail to open properly, it can lead to discomfort and potential infections. The dilation procedure involves the insertion of a small balloon catheter into the Eustachian tube, which is then inflated to widen the tube and improve its function.

Myringotomy
Myringotomy is a surgical procedure performed to treat chronic ear infections or persistent fluid accumulation in the middle ear, conditions that can lead to hearing loss or other complications. During a myringotomy, a small incision is made in the eardrum (tympanic membrane) to allow the trapped fluid to drain out, thereby relieving pressure and reducing the risk of infection. Often, a tiny tube, called a tympanostomy tube, is inserted into the incision to keep the drainage pathway open and to ventilate the middle ear. This procedure is commonly performed on children, but adults may also benefit from it when they experience similar issues.

Inferior turbinate reduction
Inferior turbinate reduction is a surgical procedure designed to alleviate nasal obstruction caused by enlarged turbinates. The inferior turbinates are structures inside the nose that help humidify and filter the air we breathe. When they become swollen or enlarged, often due to allergies, chronic sinusitis, or other factors, they can block airflow and lead to difficulty breathing through the nose. This procedure involves reducing the size of the turbinates to improve nasal airflow and reduce congestion. Techniques for inferior turbinate reduction vary, including radiofrequency ablation and submucosal resection, each aimed at shrinking the tissue while preserving the mucous membrane.

Latera implants
Latera implants are medical devices used to support the lateral nasal wall in patients experiencing nasal valve collapse, which can lead to chronic nasal obstruction and difficulty breathing. The implants are small, absorbable devices that are inserted into the nasal wall to provide structural support and maintain proper airflow through the nasal passages. Over time, the implants are absorbed by the body, leaving behind a more stable and open nasal passage. Latera implants can significantly improve nasal breathing and reduce symptoms of nasal obstruction, offering a long-term solution for patients with nasal valve collapse.
